Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick Heads To Ukraine Border

Published on

A bipartisan congressional delegation will travel from the United States to Poland in order to witness the Russia-Ukraine conflict and learn from the Ukrainian people.

This delegation includes Republicans as well as Democrats from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. It was established to support the Ukrainian people, and resist Russia’s war crimes.

Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick (Republican from Pennsylvania) is particularly grateful for this trip. He collaborated with law enforcement officials and the Ukrainian government to combat Russian corruption and improve cyber security.

Fitzpatrick stated that the Ukrainians were showing other countries why they should have joined Europe’s Union (EU) long ago. Why NATO should have been established long ago.

Fitzpatrick stated that the lawmakers would also investigate any war crimes committed by Putin.

This is not war. Fitzpatrick stated that this was terrorism. This is something we all know since many years.

Fitzpatrick is hopeful that he can cross into Ukraine with the remaining delegation until Monday.

Fitzpatrick talked about the military escorts that coordinated the trip, and stated that they would go as far as I will allow them to.

It is expected that the trip will include Republican Reps. Michael McCaul from Texas and Ann Wagner, both from Texas, along with Democratic Reps. Gregory Meeks and David Cicilline and Democratic Reps. Gregory Meeks and Gerry Connolly and Gerry Meeks and Rhode Island Democratic Reps. Gregory Meeks.

McCaul stated that he would like to see firsthand the “humanitarian disaster” created by Putin’s unprovoked, deadly invasion of Ukraine.

McCaul and other Republicans are frustrated by the slow U.S. response on everything, from sanctions to cutting off Russian oil imports.
