China’s state-run propaganda newspaper Global Times mocked President Joe Biden’s campaign promise to end the Chinese coronavirus epidemic. Instead, he declared Monday that there was “no federal solution”.

The newspaper stated that Biden declared, “Anyone responsible for such a high number of deaths should be removed from office as president of the United States of America,” during the October 2020 presidential debate. “However,… [t]he death rate during each party’s respective campaigns is comparable. What can Biden do to explain this? Who should be held accountable for the deaths of these innocents? The Times concluded that the American free and democratic political system was “dubious”, as it does so often, regardless of the topic. This conclusion is based solely on Biden’s incompetence.
The Global Times, China’s most hostile English-language newspaper, admitted that China is currently facing the worst coronavirus outbreak since the pandemic started in Wuhan in late 2019 Although the Chinese government claims that only 200 coronavirus cases have been confirmed since Monday, this is the highest number of coronavirus cases the regime has acknowledged to since at most April 2020. As China prepares for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics and invites world leaders and athletes, the cases are rising. This could make the Games a super-spreader event. China had banned officials from Beijing’s neighborhoods hosting the Olympics in order to avoid the negative consequences of politicians leaving during the ceremony.
