CNN’s Ageism Exposed: Network Questions McConnell’s Health While Ignoring Biden’s

CNN News Central, on Thursday, featured a hilarious segment about the health and age of 81-year-old Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell following an earlier moment where he stopped talking during a media event.

John Berman, the host of The John Berman Show, and Manu Raju, the congressional correspondent, discussed this incident in depth. They referred to McConnell’s previous falls and suggested that complications could make him incapable of carrying out his duties as a senator.

One problem.

Joe Biden, 80, has fallen several times, tripped upstairs, mumbled on many occasions, and suddenly started wandering on stage while making public remarks — CNN, which calls itself “the most trusted name in news,” has ignored it all. Try to ignore your surprise and shock.

Let’s watch the video of the clown show. Berman began the celebrations by claiming McConnell’s brief lapse in judgment was a major event.

CNN learned overnight that Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell had fallen more than once this year. McConnell’s weekly news conference was interrupted by a pause in his speech, which led to this new reporting.

CNN’s chief Congressional Correspondent Manu Raju was on Capitol Hill today with new reporting. What are you learning, Manu?

Raju, as expected, was also all over the melodrama.

Yes, multiple sources have told me that this has occurred on several occasions in the past year. Mayor McCo — me–Mitch McConnell, 81, walks with a limp. He is a polio survivor from his childhood. He has had problems walking his entire life, and this year it is more apparent.

We know about at least three incidents this year, through our reporting, and others–and one very public incident that happened back in March, when he fell, hit his head, and suffered a concussion. He also broke some ribs and was out of the Senate for 6 weeks.

Two other incidents also occurred. In February, he traveled overseas with an American delegation to meet the President of Finland. He slipped as he was walking out of his vehicle on a somewhat snowy day. He did not get hurt, he just brushed off his own body and went on with the meeting.

Uh-huh. Joe Biden is not available to comment.

Then we’ll talk about the major incident I mentioned in March, which we all know, and the one that happened just this month or earlier this year, as he was stepping off the plane. My sources tell me that he fell as he was walking out of the plane. After that incident, the man returned to work at the Capitol.

Oh, noes! Joe Biden could not be reached for comment.

Raju said McConnell’s “freeze” on Thursday might have been linked to his fall in the first half of this year.

This all happened before yesterday’s incident, when Senator McConnell, at his press conference made some remarks, and then abruptly froze up for a while. Then he came back to answer questions including mine, which asked him what had happened.

He told reporters that he was fine. Later, he told reporters that he was fine. He hasn’t yet said what exactly happened, why he had frozen, or if it was related to the fall earlier this year. His office said that he felt light-headed and stepped away from yesterday’s news conference because of it.

There is no doubt that the country is in danger! Joe Biden did not respond to a request for comment.

There are still many questions about the 81-year-old Republican leader. He claims to be fine but how long will he remain as Republican leader, and in his seat? He has a term that expires in 2026. As he is the Republican leader for the remainder of this Congress and until then, what will be his next move? John.

Memo to Manu

Remember Biden’s defiant, “Watch me!” response to questions regarding his health and mental acuity. I agree. And, Manu? How is that going?

Conclusion:

The hypocrisy of CNN is nothing new, but what’s hilarious is the fact that people like these are incapable of intellectual honesty or the self-awareness to recognize they have reduced themselves to tragic humor.

Joe Biden is not available to comment.
